This new landmark project is set to smash height records in Ringwood and is located at the site of the old Iceland skating ring at 28-30 Maroondah Highway. Weighing in at 19 storeys this will be the highest development to date in Ringwood.
The $23.65 Million site has gained approval for a mixed use multi tower development, including residential dwellings, serviced apartments, commercial space and a child care centre with a public plaza to activate the space.
The project itself will be called ‘The Ring’ and as the first landmark many visitors to Maroondah, Mayor Rob Steane praised the “extremely high quality and integrated design.” He also said it offered “a significant contribution to diversity of housing and accommodation in this area of Ringwood”.
